Day 152 Challenge at 365 Cards

Here is my card for the day 152 challenge. You had to have a hidden place for a message on your card. I can't take credit for the hidden watermelon message ideas as I scraplifted it from a Cricut mb member. So sorry I dont remember who it was. Anyways the watermelons is put together with a brad so it will move and can be opened to reveal a hidden message. The green swirly background paper was from the DCWV spring stack and I knew I needed to use it for this card. The watermelon is from SYI. I let my 7 yo pick between this one and the one on DC. So you can see that SYI won his vote. I cut the watermelon once on blackout and once on regular and then again for the green rhine and seeds layer. I used the swiss dots folder for more cuteness on the card. The "thanks" is from WIMY. The "a millon" is a stamp which I had wanted to say "a Melon" but had stamped before I remembered. Oh well. The green ribbon is from HL and the sparkel jems from CTMH. Happy Sat. and thanks for looking.

Here is my card for the Tag Challenge at 365 Cards

This is my card for the tag challenge at 365 Cards. I have had the flower paper awhile and did not know what to do with it. I think it works perfect for this card. The flower paper is Sassafrass and the blue and brown in the tag is from my scraps. I made the tag using a journaling stamp on the blue and added a brown scalloped circle behind. It is also pop dotted off the card. The brown flowers are primas and the blue is one I got with some flowers, dont remember the name. The ribbon is from M's. Happy Sat. and thanks for looking. As always I love comments so why not leave me one and let me know what you think.!

Muddy Shoes

A couple of weeks ago we went hiking a it was MUDDY. Hunter was leading the way and got stuck in the MUD. Right off the bat ideas for pages went through my head. Lot time to think on the ideas for the rest of the hike. This is what I came up with. Most papers and all the stickers are CTMH. The boot is from the Campout cart. cut at 1 1/4 I think. Muddy Shoes is cut from Mickey font at 1 in. These pages are smaller becuase they are for my Mils flip book with spiral binding that I made for her. Happy Thursday and thanks for looking.

Day 149 Sponging Challenge at 365 Cards

The challenge over at 365 cards today was to use sponging on your card. Right away I knew I would use my campout cart. for this card. I cut the fish at 1 1/4 in. on black out and regular on pale yellow cs. I used CTMH copper and green ink to sponge the fish. The top layer of the fish is pop dotted from the blackout cut. I added a black brad for the eyes. I also cut the fishing net out of green and and pale yellow cs as well. I dont know if you can see it ou not but I added white toole over the net to make it look more real. There is twine at the bottom along with a botton. I stamped happy birthday once in the copper and then in walnut brown. It gives it almost a 3-d effect. The inside will say something like Hope you birthday is a "REEL" great one. Happy Monday and thanks for looking. Oh by the way all papers are CTMH except the yellow cs.
