A 1 sheet cardstock mini album

I saw this on a blog video and thought how neat it was. I made this for another friend who I have not seen in about 4 years. We've known each other about 16 years. I found some old pics of us together to use, but also left her some space to add pics from our last meeting up this past Thursday. The circle one was when we were each preggers with out first kids. They are now 11 years old. It folds up to be a 6 x6 little album. I will try and post each step and take pictures for those that have not seen how it is done. That is something new for me and will be a fun challenge for me. I had to hurry that morning and finish the front so I didnt get a pic of it. But I used the plaid paper frome the spring stack to finish off the front and back. On the front I added a yellow and teal and pink flower with a green brad. Hope you all like it and thanks for looking.

A Bright and Cheery card for a friend

I made this card for a friend who was having a bad day. I somewhat scraplifted the idea and vase from a Cricut mb member but dont remember who it was. I just saved the card. I used WIMG for for vase on front and inside and the daisy flower as well. I used swiss dots and the circle and dots embossing folders as well. The laugh out loud is a thick sticker that I mounted on cs and pop dotted. This is the first time I have really done up the inside of a card for the lets see the inside of your card challenge. I hope she likes it and is happy when she gets it.

Which one would you pick

I made these wedding cards using the SYI cart and the cake on page 72. I made one with pink accents and a pink background the has the hearts embossed on it. On the cake I used the swiss dots embossing folder. I stamped the word celebrate on both of them. The other one is just the plain white cake embossed with some black and white gingham ribbon. So I pose this question to you, as Dh and I are debating over it. Which one would you pick and why? Should wedding cards only be black and white?

Not feeling well

This card is a scrapplifted one from mommyof2darlings. Im not sure what I think about this one. I think is that the birds on the bottom are blue and dont match the bigger bird. I used a part of a small scalloped punch to make it look like the ticket punch from SU. I added a blue button with twine and some red eyelets that are from CTMH. I think I will revisit and revise this one and see if I can make it better. The stamp in the bottom corner is a Autum Leaves stamp I believe. Any suggestions on how to make this better would be great.

Love birds

This card uses the same background paper as the wedding card. I was inspired by a card I saw on the I love Pretty paper blog. She did a love birds card. Tomiannies turned out much cuter, but Im happy with how this turned out. I know its hard to see but I stamped 2 birds use the Free Spirit set from CTMH. I added a heart button on one and just a heart on the other. I also added the scallop and ribbon across the bottom. The stamp says love and the birds is the next picture on the inside. I added some gold glitter to it. And more bling on the heart.

My first Wedding card

This is my first wedding card I have done. I used the Bride and Groom on the cart SYI on shadow and then the layers. The shadow lay is cut in pale pink along with the brides dress and veil. I used white toole and a sparkle gem to do the veil for the bride. I also added 3little sparkle gems across the bottom of her gown. The grooms tux and hat are cut out of dark brown cs. The background paper is Sassafras "Royal Bliss" I have had it for along time and didnt know what to do with it unitl this card came to mind. I added a scalloped cut out from AE cart across the bottom and ribbom to finish it off. The stamp says Celebrate

Happy birthday with cherries

This cute card was made usuing 2 embossing folders. The red was embossed with the Swiss dots folder and the white was embossed with the Devine Swirls folder. The Cherry was made using the George cart. That was before I was the cute cherry cut that Oakielady did. The leaves are from the Plantin cartridge. The top of the cherry in red is embossed with the swiss dots folder as well. The scallop circles are from Storybook cart. The happy birthday is a stamp. Its hard to tell but I added some red bling to the cherry and to a couple of cherries on the ribbon, which was the inspiration for this card.
