Tag and Embellishments for a Swap

Here are some things I have made for a embellishment swap Im in. On the tag which is the ones that Tim Holtz uses I did the resist emboss technique. These tags can be purchased at www.liveteachcreate.com I used my Shimmerz spritz in Ruby in the background as well as my french script stamp. I hand made the flower and the stamped butterfly. The flowers above were made using the cordenations paper. Pink/black and blue/black combos. I sanded them so that the color would show through before forming the flower. I found a tutorial on You tube on how to make them I dont remember who did it but I will post when I find out who. I added Shimmerz and stickles to them as well for lots of bling. The two stamped butterflies above were done on photo paper and then I added some fibers for their bodies. I just love how they turned out. Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by.

Here is anothe Design Team project

Here is my latest design Team project. This was a different layout for me. I wanted it to be more simple and really focus on the picture. This is a picture of me, my mom on the right and my grandma on the left. My grandma has since passed away so I treasure this picture. I stamped the back ground with my french script stamp with my vintage photo distress ink. I then used paper from the Rosey Nook collection, which can be found here www.yourmemorieshere.com I used my edge distresser tool on this paper to give it a worn look. I added a prima flower with the surgar or diamond dust on top. I did not make this one. The bling at the bottom is a mixture. They dew drops are from the Flame and Orchid collections and are on sale for $2 now at Your Memories Here online store. ( see link above). The little green flower is a Prima from the Sweet and Sassy Clueless collection also availale at Your Memeories Here online store. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Sunday to you.

Remembering Somer Thompson

This is my mini albeum page for Somer Thompsons book for her mom Diena. I was watching Sarahs video on you tube ( her channel is kaczsk) on she has quest for help. She was asking for ladies to create a mini album page for Somer Thompsons mom. Diena lost her 6 year old daughter last year. Sarah is putting together a mini book to help bring her mom some happiness. Somers birthday was April 5th and Sarah wants to get it to her on that day. Somers favorite color was purple so I went with the purple theme. The papers are My Minds Eye and the flowers and bling are Prima. The two tags on the bottom picture come out so she can journal and add pictures. The frame in the top picture is pop dotted on three sides so she can slide a picture in the top. Many ladies in the you tube community have made pages. You can head over to you tube and watch them there. I knew as soon as I saw Sarahs video asking for help I had to do it. As a mom there was no way I couldnt. I hope that these pages and books will bring Diena some peace and she'll know that so many out there care. You can go to www.rememberingsomer.com to find out more and see pictures of cute little Somer.

My Owl scraplift

Here is my Owl scraplift for a special friend of mine. She has given me so much inspiration and I have learned so much from here. Not just about crafting but about being a women and a friend and being a better mom. I want to "Thank" her for that. I had so much fun making this. The black music paper is from the Music stack. The pink polka-dot paper is from American Crafts as well as the lined paper. The pink cardstock is by Recollections. The flowers are Prima and so is the bling. The bright blue flowers are bigger ones that I cut in half. I used my Cricut Expression to cut the wings beak and eyes. I distressed the edges with black Stazon ink pad. After I was done I sprayed the entire owl with my new Shimmerz Spritz in babys breath. It gives it a real shimmery look with a silver tone. I just wish you could see it because I know the pictures just dont do it justice. I will be doing a video tutorial on you tube on the in the next couple of days.!! Thanks for looking and Happy Sunday.
