My Halloween Goodie Box

I saw this box idea at Christmas with the Cricut. You can check out there blog here
www.cricutchristmas.blogspot.com. I saw the video that Happy Happy Joy Joy did and fell in love with it. Thank you so much for sharing the cut file with us. This is my take on the 4 in. box. I used halloween paper from last year. I have been wanting to use the black and white eye paper for a long time. I think it was perfect for this box. I add the glitter cardstock to the top as well as the flowers and ribbon on the front to finish this adorabe box off. This would be great for filling with candy for teachers at Halloween or Chirstmas time. Thanks again Happy Happy Joy Joy for sharing with us. Happy Thursday and thanks for looking.!

My Treat bag

I made this treat bag for a challenge on the Cricut message boards. I used the bad on the PS cartridge and added a circle on the front for the circle window. I wanted to put candy in there but didnt have any so I used filler shred paper for now. I will add some candy when I get some. I used pp from DCWV spring stack and inked the edges of the bad pink. I added white toole around the front handle and used it with pink ribbon to tie the bag together. I added a big bright pink flower with gem on the front. I cut it at 11 3/4 inches wide by 8 inches long. You can see that it makes a good size treat bad. Happy Wednesday and thanks for looking. :)

A Veggie Thank you

I made this card as a Thank you for my neighbors who have been bringing us some of their extra veggies and fruit from the garden. It has been really nice to have since we dont have anyone working at the moment. I need to give a big Thank you to Okie from the Cricut message boards for the cut files of the grapes, carrots and envelope. Without these this card woud not have been possibe. I cut the grapes and inked them and embossed as well. I also did the same with the carrots too. I used the swiss dots folder on the carrots and brown distressing ink. The card and the Thanks a bunch top were cut using the WIMG cart ridge. I cut the envelop using yellow patterned paper with the pattern on the inside. I added ribbon and carrots on the envelope as well. Happy Monday and thanks for looking.

A Vintage Santa

Im so loving this look of music sheets/old pages from books look. This my take on a vintage santa for a Chirstmas card. I cut the santa at 3 in. from the Dc card. I used cream and then inked with my Tim Holtz in walnut brown. I just love that ink and cant wait to try it out in some more colors. I embossed the background with D'vine Swirls cuttlebug embossing folder as well as Santas beard. I added a sticker and cream ribbon. Rounded corners finish off this card. Happy Wednesday and thanks for looking.

Another Christmas Reindeer

Here is another Christmas Reindeer card I made not sure what I think about it. I added stickles to the center of some of the flowers. The scallops are from the Sb cart. If you use the shadow black and press shift letter I then you get the scallop. Some ribbon and a stamp finish off this card. I also made the card for Scraps challenge #4 on the Cricut mb. This time is was to use dots/circles paper all from scraps. This is some Christmas paper I had left over from last year in my scraps container. Happy Wednesday and thanks for looking.

My A+ Apple card

Here is my take on the sketch for this weeks sketch at at 2Sketches4you. You can find them here http://2sketches4you.blogspot.com/. It was a back to school theme, and I choose an apple from the DC cartridge to use on my card. I took sheet music my son gave my and distressed it with Tim Holts distressing ink in walnut brown. I used the bamboo looking cuttlebug embossing folder on it as well. The leaf paper behind the apple is from CTMH. I cut the shadow apple one size bigger and add the same music paper to that as well. Some ribbon, twine and a button finish this card off. Happy Wednesday and thanks for looking.

A Reindeer Christmas

Here is my fisrt Christmas card. I got that stamp at the thrift store like Goodwill for 50 cents. Its a hero arts stamp. D 758 from 1990. I thought it was to cute. I stamped it and added a red brad for Rudolphs nose and some black dots for eyes. Red ribbon with white dots and a Merry Christmas stamp finish this adorable card off. Happy Sat and thanks for looking. Hope you like it. Sorry if there is a glare this card is packaged and ready for a craft fair. Im hoping to due one around Oct or Nov.

Thank you

Here is the card I made to send to the boys Grandma and Grandpa as a thank you from dh and I and my 2 younger boys. They took they boys bowling and helped us out with some groceries as well, while they were here. This is a different card for me as it is not colors I would normally pick. I scraplifted from one of the gals at 365 cards for a challenge last week. It was ad inspired and had a basket of orange tulips in the as. I didnt have any perfect stamps to use so went with this one. It is more simple than I would normally do as well but do like the way it came out. Happy Sat and thanks for looking. I love comments so why not leave me one and let me know what you think. Leave a link to your blog as well and I will check it out.

Thanks

Here is a card I made for Joseph and Kody to send to their grandma and grandpa to say "Thank You" for a wonderful summer. I know they played lots of card games and knew this card would be perfect. It is scraplifted from a Cricut mb member so i cant take credit for the origanal design of this card. They will each write a nice letter about their summer vacation and how much fun they had and saying thank you to include with the card. I sure hope they like it. I made the playing cards myself and embossed the red marquee cut behind the cards. Happy Sat and Thanks for looking.

I for an Eye Challenge at 365 cards

For this challenge we were to use words that sound alike but are different. Like "I love ewe instead of you" So I choose "just beecuase". The behive was a rub on from my stash and the little poped up bee was from some cute stickers from M's. I added dots behind the second bee. I also usde blue and white flowers with a sparkly center and added a blue flower button. I also used white toole and blue ribbon across the top. Happy Monday and thanks for looking.

U can do it challege over at 365 cards

For this challenge over at 365 cards we were to make a card with the saying "You can do it" on your card. So this is what I came up with. I tried to keep in more manly and not so girly girl. I hope I did that. The circle cs is from Sei and all others from my stash. I used alphabet stamps for the can do it. I added chipboard flowers, I guess is what you would call them. I also added some blue ribbon across the bottom. The card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Happy Monday and thanks for looking.
