Here is a 4th of July layout I did for my monthly scrapbook kit through the local Lss.The bacground blue papper and the pale blue plaid paper are from Rusty Pickle. The chipboard stickers are Rusty Pickle as well. The Ribbon is from Hl and buttons from my stash. The chipboard star is pop dotted for added deminsion. Happy Thruday and thanks for looking.

Muddy Shoes

A couple of weeks ago we went hiking a it was MUDDY. Hunter was leading the way and got stuck in the MUD. Right off the bat ideas for pages went through my head. Lot time to think on the ideas for the rest of the hike. This is what I came up with. Most papers and all the stickers are CTMH. The boot is from the Campout cart. cut at 1 1/4 I think. Muddy Shoes is cut from Mickey font at 1 in. These pages are smaller becuase they are for my Mils flip book with spiral binding that I made for her. Happy Thursday and thanks for looking.

Day 149 Sponging Challenge at 365 Cards

The challenge over at 365 cards today was to use sponging on your card. Right away I knew I would use my campout cart. for this card. I cut the fish at 1 1/4 in. on black out and regular on pale yellow cs. I used CTMH copper and green ink to sponge the fish. The top layer of the fish is pop dotted from the blackout cut. I added a black brad for the eyes. I also cut the fishing net out of green and and pale yellow cs as well. I dont know if you can see it ou not but I added white toole over the net to make it look more real. There is twine at the bottom along with a botton. I stamped happy birthday once in the copper and then in walnut brown. It gives it almost a 3-d effect. The inside will say something like Hope you birthday is a "REEL" great one. Happy Monday and thanks for looking. Oh by the way all papers are CTMH except the yellow cs.

A flower card for a Message board member

This is a card that I made for an Cricut message board member who has been ill. I used pp from the DCWV spring stack. I add cream ribbon over a strip of pale pumpkin cs. I used an orange and flower with orange button middle. Green ric rac makes the stem of this flower. I cut out 2 leaves and embossed them with the swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder. I will stamp thinking of you or something along those lines on the front left in the bottom. Hope this card and all the others she gets will cheer her up. Happy Suday and thanks for looking.

Day 148 Super Sketchy Sunday

Here is the sketch for Sundays card. For my card I used CTMH papers. I used SB for the scalloped circles which I cut at 3 1/2, 3, and 2 7/8 inches. The middle and top ones are pop dotted to add deminsion. The pink and white flowers are CTHM as well. I added white toole and a pink brad to the flowers as well. The ribbon was from my stash. I will add some type of welcome baby sentiment. I thought I would use this for a baby girl card. Happy Sunday and thanks for looking.

Day 147 at 365 Cards

For this Sat. Challenge we were to scraplift one the of DT's cards from their blog. I really liked this challenge from the other day so I chose this one to Scraplift from Tammy. Her beautiful card is the bottom one. My card is the top two pictures. In the bottomo one the flower looks more organe. The top picture is more true to the color red of the flower. I used CTMH paper for the background and the red is from my scrap pile. I added red and white ribbon along with a red flower. I also used white toole, hemp a blue botton to finish it off. I used a corner rounder on all corners of this card. The stamp says enjoy and inside I will stamp Happy birthday.

Just because, A scraplift from Southernbellescrapper

This is a scraplift from Southernbellescrapper over at the Cricut message boards. Her blog is listed at the bottom of mine and you can see her amazing card there. I used the WIMG cart for this card. The jar is cut at 5 1/2 in and the bees at 1 in. I had to cut them 3 times to get the right pieces for the black and yellow. I used black and white polk-a-dot ribbon and white toole at the top with a little yellow button to finish it off. The just beacause stamp is from a $1 Studio stamp set that I got at ACM's This is a shaped card and the base of the card is pale blue. I hope you like it and thanks for looking. I do love comments so why not leave me one.!!!

A very pink birthday card

This card is for my sisters birthday on the last day of the month. I really hope she likes pink becuase this card is all about pink. The pp is from the DCWV spring stack and cs is pink and from J's. The cute little bird is a Pink Petticoat image. I colored in with my colorbox inks and outlined in black to make it pop. There is white faux stiching around card as well. It says Celebrate on the outside and Happy birthday in side. The sayings are CTMH stamps. Hope she likes it as much as I do. Pink is my all time favorite color and I would love to get a card like this. LOL

Day 145 Ad inspired

The challenge over at 365 Cards today is an ad inspired challenge. You are to use the pillow as inspiration for your card. This card took some thought on my part. I didnt think I had any orange pp that woould work for the background untill I remembered I had this piece. Then I didnt know if I should use black or brown to accent with or ribbon. This is what I came up with. I used the butterfly from the Storybook cart on accent key. I added blue paper behind the butterfly cutout cut at 3 1/2 and pop dotted if off the green scallop cut at 4 in. The photocorners are chipboard which I covered to match and inked brown. The orange butterfly is from the cutout inked and has faux stiching. Happy butterflies and I hope you like it.

My take on vintage.

This is my take on doing a vintage card. I have had the pp for ever and saw Okie's sketch challenge this week and new I wanted to use this paper for sketch 1. I used Tim Holtz distressing ink in walnut brown on just about everything on the card. The paper behind the card I inked and crumbled up to give it that aged look. The top flower is a chrochted one and the others are primas. The last flower has words on it and I inked it as well. I added ribbon and some lace from my stash to give that more vintage look. I wished I had added some photocorners and still may do this just to give the card more intrest. Let me know what you think as dh said he didnt like it. What does he know! LOL

My 50 cent garage slae find redo.!

I found this unpainted and plain and ugly at a yard sale for 5o cents. Look at what some paper, paint, ribbon and flowers can do. I dont know what Ill put it the tins yet. This was a lot of fun to make and I really like the way it turned out.

Bling cupcake card.

This cupcake card was made with a DCVW card from a boxed set I got last year. I used the spots and dots cuttlebug embossing folder and the pink and silver background papers. I added whtie toole with hot pink ribbon around the front of the card and the flowers with bling. The silver paper is pot dotted and well as is the cup cake. The bottom of the cupcake is couragated coardboard that I had and chalked pink. I added some bling to the cupcake as well. This card is for the 365 card challenge. Challenge 144 for today. (Wed).

Day 143 Smpathy card with no message on the front

This is a smpathy card that I did with no message on the front. The card is from a K & CO. pack I got at Ms for $2.99. I thought the tulips were soft and sutle and would make a good symapthy card. I cut out tulips from the DC cart and emabossed them with the swiss dots embossing folder. You can see that better in the top picture. I added purple tulips over the green to match the ribbon. The little butterfly is a punch. Hope you like this and thanks for looking

Here is my Card for Super Sketchy Sunday.

This is my card for challenge 141 Super Sketchy Sunday at 365 Cards. You can find there link in my list of blogs I like to visit at the bottom of the page. The background paper is from the spring stack DCWV. I added pale pumking cs with a blue scallop. The buttons are also pale pumkin from my stash. The ribbon I had and the flower is from a friend. In the bottom right hand corner I stamped just because. I used Tim Holts walnut distressing ink on the pp and cs. The top picture shows the sktech that I made my card from.
